My Third Class of Management Information System

This meeting was the day I present my business process that I made with my partner. I had to make a business process about "buying a new phone and send it to mother". It was kinda simple yet not that simple. W realize that we had to make 2 kind of business plan since there were 2 kind of main activities. It was little difficult to make a business process that must be different with the definition of guideline. I used to confused about how to differenciate a business process with a guideline. and there are actually many specific things that can be found to differenciate these two things. 

Business process has a very detailed flow. it includes more than one parties. there must be some parties such as customer, seller/salesperson (based on the business) and there might be some other parties. For each flow, there must be detailed as possible what will be done by each part. It is very different with guideline. guideline only direct the customer or user to do something until the process is done. it will be made as simple as possible. Yet business process, it is not about giving direction only, but it is also about giving such a specific possibility that might happen. it talks about the decision of each parties. In every decision will influence the process itself, whether the process will be continued or ended. In visual, you can see the different between guideline and business process.

This is what we call as business process, it includes some types of activity in a business and includes some possibilities that might be happened after different decision.

The main value of making business process is about having more efficient business activities. There must be an estimation of the time to now whether the time consumed is too much or efficient enough to be done. Thus, by making business flow, we have to make such a forecasting for the most efficient flow to be applied in the real business activities both for customer or business runner itself. 

From some notes above, I got some revision of my task which are mostly talking about timing, decision, and transaction. Decision influence all of business process. Transaction is one of the example of making decision. As we know that transaction has so many type, so that we have to adjust all of the type of transaction. Second thing, when we talk about business process which provide a certain product, we must be care about product availability, as always. There are many possible things could be happened only because of product availability. Third, we must be care about any conjunction activities when we have some different business activity as my assignment. Fourth, we must consider about the possibility of the presence of third or more parties. 

Business process has so many perspectives that we have to adjust one by one to ensure that the whole business process are effective and efficient from all of the parties to be understood. As it is objected before, business process always been made as efficient as possible not to waste the time. It will influence the productivity of all of parties when the business process can be made in the lowest time and highest productivity.
